Turnkey Duck Plant complete

It is the biggest duck plant in Europe

Bayle have completed the design, supply and installation of the biggest duck plant in Europe. The inauguration of HuNent duck processing plant took place on 28 January 2019 in MelyKut, Hungary. It is the biggest duck plant in Europe with capacity for 5000 ducks per hour and 1000 geese per hour.

The whole project started in 2015 with Mr Kiss the main shareholder and Mr Kurt Weiss General Director. Bayle were commissioned to produce all necessary process drawings, including the floor drawings, energy, conveyor above structure and wall opening drawings. For the last three years we have worked on this project alongside other local contractors. Our team has been on site many times over the course of the project which is why it’s been a close cooperation with HuNent and has become a success.

Bayle supply on the line is composed of:

• Hanging stations and overhead conveyor with safety systems

• Stunning bath and stunning cabinet (THF 40V model: the latest model complying with EU animal welfare regulation)

• Duck showering system LCT 4000

• Scalders waterfall type 2 x 5m x 8m length

• 1 PGT counter rotation plucker + 1 finishing vertical disc plucker

• Duck drying system, before waxing

• Double waxing and stripping for excellent skin quality

• Wax centrifuge filtering system 100% electrical driven

• “Hygie” evisceration system including automatic Opener, Eviscerator, with viscera collector heart and liver selection, cropper, neck skin slitter, beak and Tung cutter, neck breaker, inside/out washer

• Electrical cubicle with touch screen supervision of the process and remote distance connection

• Air chilling line over 3 levels
